Terms of Service
Effective date: October 31, 2026 · Version 2026-10-31
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Complexity Networks Design Co. ("Complexity", "we", "us", "our"), a business based in Michigan, USA. They govern your purchase of our services and products, including custom websites, custom game modifications ("mods"), Counter-Strike 2 ("CS2") skin designs, custom images and logos, digital asset creation, custom software, and design consultations (together, the "Services").
By creating an account, placing an order, or paying for a Service, you agree to these Terms, our Conditions of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you are 13–17, a parent or legal guardian must place the order and accept these Terms for you. The Services are not directed to children under 13.
- You agree to give accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us right away at our support email if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
- If you order on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Our services & quotes
Services are offered either as fixed-price packages, which you can purchase directly through the site, or as quoted projects, where the price shown is a "starting at" estimate. For quoted projects we will send you a written quote (by email or through the site) describing the scope, price, deliverables and estimated timeline. A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise, and becomes binding when you accept it and pay any required deposit.
Package descriptions on the site (for example, the number of pages, concepts or revision rounds) form part of your order. Anything not listed is outside the package scope and may be quoted separately.
3. Orders, pricing & payment
- Prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or currency-conversion fees that apply to your purchase, except taxes on our income.
- Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never receive or store your full card number. See our Privacy Policy.
- You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for the total shown at checkout. If you choose to save a card, you authorize us to charge it for future orders you place — we will not charge a saved card without an order or written approval from you.
- We may refuse or cancel an order — for example, if a request breaks Section 5, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we will refund any amount you paid for work not performed.
- For quoted projects we may require a deposit (typically 50%) before work begins, with the balance due before final files are delivered.
- Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you see the order confirmation. We'll start work in the order received unless we agree on a different schedule.
4. Briefs, revisions & timelines
- Your brief. Good results depend on a clear brief. Please describe what you want, include references, and answer our questions promptly.
- Revisions. Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated in its description (or two rounds if none is stated). A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to the current design. Requests that change the original brief in a major way (for example, a new concept, a different game or weapon, or new pages) count as new work and may be quoted separately. Extra revision rounds may be purchased.
- Timelines. Delivery times on the site are good-faith estimates in business days, starting once we have your payment and a complete brief. Delays in your feedback extend the timeline. If we expect to miss an estimate by more than 7 days, we'll tell you and you may cancel under Section 9.
- Communication. We'll communicate mainly by email and through status updates on your order page. If you don't respond to a request for feedback for 30 days, we may treat the latest version as final and close the order.
5. Your materials & prohibited requests
You may give us text, images, logos, files, game assets or other materials to use in your project ("Your Materials"). You confirm that you own Your Materials or have permission to let us use them, and that using them as you request will not infringe anyone's rights. You grant us a limited license to use Your Materials only to perform the Services and, where permitted under Section 6, to show the finished work in our portfolio.
We will not create, and you may not request:
- Work that copies or imitates another person's copyrighted work, trademark, logo, brand or character without permission, or that is designed to be mistaken for an official product of another company;
- Cheats, hacks, aimbots, exploits, or anything designed to bypass anti-cheat systems, DRM, license checks or a game's or platform's security, or to gain an unfair advantage in multiplayer games;
- Malware, phishing pages, scams, or software meant to collect data without consent;
- Content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, harassing, or that targets a real private person;
- Anything that violates a game's end-user license agreement (EULA), modding policy or the terms of a platform such as Steam.
We may decline or stop work on any request that we reasonably believe breaks this Section. If we stop work for this reason, refunds are handled under Section 9 based on work completed.
6. Ownership & licenses
6.1 What you get
When you have paid in full, we assign to you all copyright we hold in the final, approved deliverables created specifically for you (the "Final Work"), except as listed below. Until full payment, we keep ownership and you may not use the work publicly.
6.2 What we keep
- Pre-existing and reusable materials. Tools, code libraries, templates, brushes, textures, techniques and know-how that we created before or outside your project, or that are generic and reusable, stay ours. To the extent they are part of the Final Work, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them as part of that Final Work.
- Third-party materials. Fonts, stock images, open-source software, game assets and other third-party materials are subject to their own licenses, which we'll identify where relevant. You must follow those licenses.
- Drafts. Unused concepts, sketches and drafts remain ours unless you buy them.
6.3 Portfolio
We may display the Final Work and a description of the project in our portfolio and on social media, unless you ask us not to in writing before delivery, or the work is under a separate confidentiality agreement. We will never publish your personal information or private files.
7. Game mods & CS2 skins
- CS2 skins are design services. We create original artwork and files that meet the CS2 Steam Workshop format. We do not sell, trade or transfer in-game items, Steam inventory items, cases, keys or Steam Market items.
- No guarantee of acceptance. Valve alone decides whether any Workshop submission is added to the game. We make no promise that a design will be accepted, appear in-game, earn revenue or remain available. Any Workshop agreement, revenue share or payment from Valve is between you and Valve.
- Mods. Mods are built for the game version and mod tools available at the time of the work. Game updates may break mods; updating a mod for a later game version is new work unless your package says otherwise.
- Game rules. You are responsible for using mods and skins in line with each game's EULA, modding policy and server rules. Single-player and cosmetic mods may still be restricted in some online modes — check before you use them.
- Publisher assets. Mods often build on a publisher's original assets. Ownership in Section 6 applies only to the original work we create, not to the game's own assets.
8. Websites & software
- Unless your quote says otherwise, hosting, domain names, third-party services and their fees are your responsibility and are billed by those providers.
- For 14 days after delivery, we'll fix defects that cause the deliverable not to work as described in the agreed scope, at no charge. This doesn't cover problems caused by changes made by you or others, third-party services, or new browsers, operating systems or game updates released after delivery.
- Ongoing maintenance, updates, security monitoring and new features are not included unless purchased separately.
- You are responsible for your website's content, for any legally required notices on it, and for keeping backups and login details safe after handover.
9. Cancellations & refunds
Because our Services are custom, digital and made to order, refunds depend on how far the work has progressed:
| When you cancel | Refund |
|---|---|
| Before we start work (no previews or drafts sent) | Full refund |
| After work has started but before first previews | Refund minus 25% to cover time spent |
| After first previews or drafts have been delivered | Up to 50% refund at our discretion, based on work completed |
| After final files are delivered and accepted (Section 10) | No refund |
| Design consultations | Full refund if cancelled 24+ hours before the session; none afterwards |
- If we fail to deliver, or we cancel your order for reasons other than a breach of these Terms by you, you'll receive a full refund of amounts paid for the undelivered work.
- If we miss an estimated delivery date by more than 7 days without agreement, you may cancel and receive a refund for work not yet delivered.
- To request a cancellation or refund, email us with your order number. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we'll always try to make it right. Chargebacks filed after work was delivered and accepted may lead to account suspension, and we may provide records of the work and your approval to the payment processor.
- Nothing in this Section limits any refund rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Delivery & acceptance
We deliver Final Work by download link, email, file-sharing service or deployment, as agreed. You have 7 days after delivery to tell us about any way the work does not match the agreed brief. If you don't respond within 14 days of delivery, or you use the work publicly, the work is considered accepted. Please keep your own copies of delivered files; we may delete project files 90 days after delivery.
11. Disclaimers
We perform the Services with reasonable skill and care. Except as stated in these Terms, the Services and deliverables are provided "as is" and "as available", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee any particular business result, ranking, follower count, sales, game acceptance or revenue from your project. Creative work involves taste; we can't guarantee you will like every concept, which is why revisions are included.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from the Services; and (b) our total liability for any claim relating to an order or the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the order that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal fees arising from (a) Your Materials, (b) your use of the deliverables in breach of these Terms, a game's EULA or the law, or (c) your breach of Section 5.
14. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, the Conditions of Use or the law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, both sides agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other in writing and negotiating in good faith for at least 30 days. If that fails, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [Your County] County, Michigan, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. If you are a consumer living outside the U.S., you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
16. General
- Changes. We may update these Terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. We'll post the new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or on the site.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, any written quote you accept, the Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Services. If a written quote conflicts with these Terms, the quote controls for that project.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
- Independent contractor. We work as an independent contractor; nothing here creates an employment, partnership or agency relationship.
- Force majeure. We're not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
